Dirty Martini

Picture: New York. 1901. A famous bartender John O’Connor found incentive for the Dirty Martini in the classic Martini’s renowned olive garnish. First made by mixing the olive into the drink, and later by adding a splash of olive, the Dirty Martini needed decades to touch a broad devotee base.

  • 2 1/2 oz Gin or vodka
  • 1/2 oz Dry vermouth
  • 1/4 oz Olive juice
  • Garnish: Olives

  1. Add all the parts into a mixing glass with ice and stir.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with three olives.
